Ditchley


This is another incredible sale from Circa in a beautiful historic home in Hanover County.  Ditchley was built around 1830 and it is a beautiful classical brick period house with 14ft. ceilings.
This house is absolutely filled with beautiful antiques! Featuring many important furniture pieces including an exquisite Mahogany George III English chest-on-chest with fretwork, c. 1790, Victorian/Edwardian desk bookcase, two antique corner cupboards (one possibly Virginia), wonderful folding architect's easel table, beautiful wing chairs with silk upholstery, quality reproduction furniture by Baker and Kittinger, Victorian half-tester bed, many paintings, prints, McKenney and Hall hand colored lithographs, 40" tall bronze statue of Mercury signed F. Barbidienne Foundeur, 33" High bronze elephant by William H.
