The sale is overflowing with remarkable family period antiques, contemporary art by Richmond's own Theresa Pollak, Marsden Williams, Virginia Artist Aggie Zed, and important works by Chilean artist Edgar Endress and other artists. The sale is also filled with classic vintage pieces including furniture, accessories, clothing and jewelry. Period Furniture includes:  A Southern walnut and yellow pine inlaid Huntboard, likely South Carolina. 18thC.Walnut inlaid Virginia Corner Cupboard, circa 1790-1810,  Fine George III Desk and Bookcase, c.1790, Several fine 18th and 19th C. period chests, English and America;  Kittinger 12 seat inlaid  mahogany dining room table in the Regency style, Fine Chippendale and Sheraton style sofas in great condition, several lovely early 19thC tall post beds, Large wicker settee, chairs, tables and chaise.

The sale also includes a collection of fine 1930's Persian oriental rugs in fine condition, nice 18th and 19thC chairs and tables, Norris fine handmade inlaid Sideboard (Richmond), 19thc mahogany tall chest with shaped apron and reeding, two Chinese marble top plant stands, 18thC Cherry bonnet top highboy, white pine secondary, swan's neck broken arch pediment with central plinth with flame and fine ball & claw feet...likely Connecticut, Desk and Bookcase, George III of fine mahogany, tilt top mahogany Chippendale table & a charming Virginia 18thC writing arm Windsor chair.  Also a very attractive Georgian tall case clock by Joseph Hamilton of Southhampton

Theresa Pollock,  Marsden Williams,  Aggie Zed, Edgar Endress as well as several local artists......

THERESA POLLOCK (B. August 1899 - D. September 2002).  "Peaks of Otter after the rain" Theresa was an American artist and Educator born in Richmond.  She studied at the prestigious Art Students League from 1921-1926.  She also was a nationally recognized painter and was considered the Founder of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts.  She taught from 1928-1969 and she exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Fine Art as well as The Corcoran.  Her works are in many private collections as well as institutions and are rarely on the open market.  This is a wonderful opportunity to own one of Pollock's evocative works of art.

MARSDEN WILLIAMS is a long time Richmond artist specializing in Richmond scenes who studied under Theresa Pollock.

Chilean artist EDGAR ENDRESS is masterful and precise printmaker with a story to tell.  His works are both complicated and enchanting .  He has also devoted much time in his successful career to nurturing talent of young artists in his native Chile.  Selling internationally, his art is in many institutions and private collections around the world.
